Actor's Work for Tuesday 12th October

For Tuesday you need to have:
  • Start building a character profile
  • Start building your lists of FACTS and QUESTIONS for each scene. A fact is solid - if you are unsure if something is a fact, then ask a question. 
  • Start breaking the play into units - a unit falls between EVENTS. For an event to happen it must have an impact on the every other character in that scene. For each unit write a summary of what happens. Then give a sub heading. 
  • Create a playlist of music for your character 3-6 tracks - you also need to write justification for why each track.
  • Refer back to the 'Want.Do.Feel' sheet and reflect on the two sessions we have had so far.

7/10/15 - Rehearsal Notes

Write some reflective notes on the discussion we had on the historical context of the play and the relevance of the play for a 2016 audience. 

We started working on the opening section. Discuss the process we went through using the pictures below. What atmosphere and meaning are we creating? Why might this be important as the first moment of the play?
